Apple Unleashed 2021: How to Watch and What to Expect

Advertisemen 300x250

Apple might have announced its biggest mobile products, including the iPhone 13 and iPad Mini, but the tech giant still has plenty to unveil at its second Fall hardware event.

Simply titled Unleashed, Apple will likely introduce new MacBooks, Airpods, and more during its livestream on October 18th. Here's how you'll be able to watch the event live as if you were there yourself.

When to watch Apple Unleashed

Apple will hold its Unleased keynote on Monday, October 18 at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm UK (Thursday, October 19 at 8m AET).

Where to Watch Apple Unleashed

You can watch Apple's keynote on its events website using Safari on macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Apple TV devices as well as on Windows machines. Those on Windows 10 and Windows 11 can also watch the livestream using Edge.

What to Expect

While the title Unleashed and the hyperspace-esque image attached to the image doesn't clearly allude to what Apple might possibly announce on October 18th, it likely hints at the company's highly anticipated M1X-powered Macs.

Apple has been rumored to introduce much faster and completely redesigned 14- and 16-inch MacBooks. The M1X chip should be a major step up from even the surprisingly capable M1-powered MacBook Air and MacBook Pro from last year. Furthermore, reports suggest the new MacBooks will feature slimmer bezels, mini-LED displays, more Thunderbolt ports; plus the return of HDMI, SD Card Readers, and MagSafe.

Along with MacBooks getting a rumored M1X upgrade, Apple may also (logically) introduce updated versions of the Mac Pro and Mac mini.

Lastly, we might also see a new pair of 3rd Generation AirPods with shorter stems and a better fit for your ears.
