Samsung's first Galaxy Unpacked Event for 2023 is here. The first Galaxy Unpacked event highlighted the latest smartphones coming from the tech giant and a new laptop. In case you missed today's event, here is everything announced.
Galaxy S23 Ultra
Samsung's newest flagship, the S23 Ultra, comes with a significant change on the inside as it features a new 200-megapixel camera sensor. Granted, this is not the first time Samsung has made 200-megapixel sensors, but it is the first time that it has made its way onto its flagship smartphones.
Alongside a 200-megapixel wide lens, the additional rear cameras include a 12MP ultrawide and a 10MP telephoto lens. While the selfie camera features 12-megapixels. Another noticeable thing about the cameras this year, as you can see in the few images above, is that the S23 Ultra, alongside the S23+ and S23, doesn't have a thick camera bump as was the case with the S22 series.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra also features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 5,000mAh battery. The forthcoming Galaxy S flagship includes a few memory configurations: one with 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage or 12GB of RAM with either 512GB or 1TB of internal storage.
Despite rumors suggesting that the pricing would increase from the S22, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will start at $1,199.99 with three storage configurations: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
The Galaxy S23 will be available starting February 17 and offer four colors: Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender. However, Samsung notes that those that purchase directly from its website will also have access to Lime, Graphite, Sky Blue, and Red.
Galaxy S23+ and S23
Alongside a new Galaxy S flagship phone, Samsung also announced the Galaxy S23+ and the Galaxy S23. Which share some similarities and enough differences to make the two stand out (obviously). Similarities include the same 12MP ultrawide lens (also available on the S23 Ultra), a 10MP telephoto lens, and the same 8GB of memory.
While the differences between the two include the S23+ featuring a 6.6-inch AMOLED display and 256GB or 512GB of storage. While the S23 includes a 6.1-inch AMOLED display and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The batteries also differ between the two phones, with a 4,700mAh battery in the S23+ and a 3,900mAh battery in the S23. The S23+, like the S23 Ultra includes Super Fast Charging 2.0, while the S23 includes standard Super Fast charging.
The Galaxy S23+ and S23 will come in the same four colors as the S23 Ultra (with additional access to four exclusive colors if you purchase through Samsung's official website). The S23+ will start at $999.99 while the standard S23 will start at $799.99.

The thinnest in the Galaxy Book 3 series, the Book 3 Pro includes either a 14 or 16-inch dynamic AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
